[25 July, 2017] HUNTSVILLE, AL – Brockwell Technologies, Inc. (BTI) announced today that the company is a member of the IBM Global Business Services, U.S. Federal Team that has been awarded the U.S. Army’s Logistics Support Activity (LOGSA) Information Technology Services (LITeS) follow-on contract. The team will continue to provide managed services, apply risk management framework security controls to LOGSA’s information technology enterprise, and help the Army predict vehicle maintenance issues.

Work also covers Watson cognitive computing services and tools that will work to analyze structured and unstructured data from the military branch’s vehicles and recommend repair measures.

This is a 33-month, $135 million contract representing a successful re-compete of work that LOGSA signed with IBM in September 2012.

As part of this new contract, BTI will assist the IBM team to help the U.S. Army focus on improving cybersecurity, incorporating cognitive computing, predict vehicle maintenance failures, and speeding application modernization.
