[6 Mar 15] HUNTSVILLE, AL – Brockwell Technologies, Inc. (BTI), a long-time IBM Business Partner, has been recognized by IBM for its successful implementation of the Model Based Systems and Software (MBSE) approach to support predictive modeling of system functionality and the validation of system-to-system interface designs. The IBM citation also recognized Jaguar Land Rover vehicle infotainment systems (United Kingdom) and Diagnostics Grifols medical devices (Spain) for their successful deployment of IBM technologies in their respective markets.
BTI personnel are experts in the application of IBM Rhapsody/DOORS tool suites to model and simulate expected system behavior based on the design captured in executable Systems Modeling Language (SysML) and Unified Modeling Language (UML) models. This predictive modeling approach enables a seamless flow of engineering data through all stages of the system analysis, design, integration, and test life cycle, resulting in a more robust understanding and visualization of the finished system function and performance characteristics. Using this approach, engineers identify design flaws in the early stages of the life cycle, before metal is bent or software is written. Overall, the MBSE approach enhances efficiency, improves safety, and reduces the time it takes to get new products to clients.
